Referrals that reach the right clinician on your team
A group practice often has the right clinician for a referral, but the colleague sending it only knows one name on your team. When referrals go through one person, they wait on that person's inbox. On the Tandem Alliance referral board, a referral can be addressed to your practice and claimed by any member, so the clinician with the right fit and the opening can respond.
How it works for practices
Register the practice
Create the practice with its name, state, and website alongside your own license, reviewed together.
Invite your clinicians
Send invitations from the portal. Each clinician creates their own account, and their license is checked as usual.
Receive referrals as a team
Referrals sent to the practice can be claimed by any member, and each clinician's profile makes your whole team searchable.
What practices use it for
- Receiving referrals for the practice, not just the owner
- Letting colleagues find each clinician by specialty, modality, language, ages served, and format
- Announcing openings across the team
- Referring out within the network when a client needs a specialty your practice does not offer
- Naming a practice manager to help run invitations and the practice profile
Listed in the directory?
In California and Arizona, practices with clinicians in the client-facing specialist directory can see those listings from the portal and invite each clinician to claim theirs, so the team's profiles stay connected to the practice.
- One practice account, every clinician on it
- Referrals addressed to the practice can be claimed by any member
- Free for licensed mental health providers in every state
