Tracy Cunningham is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona and Illinois, a Certified First Responder Counselor (CFRC), and the Lead Therapist at Fash Counseling. With more than 20 years in mental health — spanning hospital emergency departments, inpatient units, intensive outpatient programs, corrections, residential settings, and private practice — she brings deep frontline experience to her work with adults facing stress, trauma, and emotional overwhelm. She sees Arizona clients virtually statewide.
Tracy has a particular passion for working with first responders and helping professionals. She understands the unique stressors, trauma exposure, and cultural dynamics that come with high-demand careers of service — and the burnout, career strain, and emotional weight that can build up over years on the job.
Tracy believes healing comes when clients can share their stories of personal struggle and speak openly — without fear.
Her approach is relational and trauma-informed, drawing on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and strengths-based, client-centered care tailored to each person. She works with young adults, adults, and older adults navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
Tracy holds a bachelor's degree in psychology and a Master of Social Work.
