Skye Campbell is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona and a Somatic Experiencing practitioner, advanced-level trained, whose work centers on helping the nervous system find its way back to safety after trauma. She sees adults in person from her Central Phoenix office near 16th Street and Maryland on Mondays and Wednesdays, and by telehealth across Arizona, with a practice built around moving trauma through the body rather than only talking about it.
Skye's focus is nervous system regulation and Somatic Experiencing — a body-based approach to trauma that helps clients gently release the survival responses that can keep them stuck in overwhelm, numbness, or hypervigilance. She brings more than a decade of experience working with adults who have survived dysfunctional families, assault, and trauma.
Healing, in Skye's view, lives in the body as much as in words — her work is helping the nervous system remember what safety feels like, at a pace that belongs to you.
Alongside Somatic Experiencing, Skye is a Certified Compassion Bereavement Care Provider and draws on the ATTEND model in her grief work, supporting clients through loss, bereavement, and traumatic grief. She is a certified Safe and Sound Protocol provider and trained in Post-Induction Therapy (the Meadows Model), having previously worked as a therapist at The Meadows treatment center. Her style is attachment-based and strengths-based, and she offers an affirming space for LGBTQ+ clients.
Neurodivergent herself, Skye works especially well with neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD and AuDHD, and she also works individually with the family members of loved ones in recovery from addiction. She offers extended 80-minute sessions for deeper somatic work and holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University.
