Dr. Mariah Gomez-Falcon is a licensed psychologist who has been licensed in California since 1995. She sees adults and older adults by telehealth across California, in English and Spanish. Her work centers on trauma, grief, and codependency, and she supports clients in navigating life’s challenges, fostering personal growth, and developing a more authentic connection with themselves.
Grief work is a particular focus of her practice. She helps people process loss, find healing, and move forward while honoring what matters most to them. She also works with anxiety, depression, and life transitions, and with people seeking personal fulfillment and a deeper sense of self.
Searching for purpose and meaning in life is often the primary goal in the work that I do.
Dr. Gomez-Falcon describes her style as exploratory and reflective, and she enjoys helping clients explore their inner world. Her approach is eclectic and focused on strength-building and resiliency: she tailors treatment to each person’s needs, drawing on psychodynamic, person-centered, feminist, and narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Lifespan Integration, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based approaches. She welcomes Latinx and LGBTQIA+ clients.
Sessions are 45 minutes and are offered online, Tuesday through Thursday from 10:15 AM to 8 PM and on Fridays from 10:15 AM to 2 PM. She works to make her services financially accessible, with a sliding scale adjusted to income, and offers a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to see whether the fit feels right. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the Los Angeles County Psychological Association, and the Glendale Area Mental Health Professionals Association.
