Lyndsey Lewis is a Licensed Associate Counselor and a trauma-informed child and teen therapist working with clients ages 6 and up across Arizona. She describes her work simply: she loves helping people make sense of their emotions — whether that is a child learning to express big feelings, a teenager navigating life’s challenges, or an adult feeling overwhelmed.
Alongside trauma, she works with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and life transitions. Her stated goal is to help clients understand themselves better while building practical skills that make everyday life feel more manageable, with a focus on emotional regulation, communication, confidence, and healthy relationships.
I believe every client has their own unique story, which is why I take time to truly get to know you and tailor therapy to your individual needs and goals.
She works from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, DBT skills, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach, tailoring the work rather than running the same curriculum for everyone. Clients describe her as warm, genuine, and easy to talk to, and her hope is that they always feel heard, supported, and equipped with skills they can carry into everyday life.
A second-generation Phoenix native, Lyndsey has lived in Arizona her whole life. Outside the office she is usually with her rescue dog Piper, whom she found as a stray during the pandemic — and she credits kindness, patience, and genuine connection as things that make a difference both in everyday life and in the therapy room.
