Lisa Lee is a Licensed Associate Counselor with 11 years in the mental health field, specializing in helping women, individuals, and couples heal from relationship trauma, narcissistic abuse, and betrayal. Her stated focus areas include relationship issues and couples therapy, family conflict and parenting challenges, divorce and betrayal trauma, EMDR therapy for trauma and anxiety, and women's mental health and motherhood stress.
She provides trauma-informed therapy and EMDR in Arizona, both in person and virtually, for clients moving through life transitions, emotional pain, and personal growth. She works from EMDR alongside Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, emotion-focused therapy, and family systems.
My purpose as a therapist? Create a safe, non-judgmental and validating space for you to explore possibilities and heal from difficult experiences.
A mother of five, Lisa brings that lived perspective into her work, particularly when supporting clients through parenting, relationships, and everyday family life. She is open that she has walked the path of recovery herself and knows how difficult it can be, and she is passionate about women's mental health and motherhood mental wellness.
Her aim is to support clients through their challenges and help them take back control of their lives. She began in the mental health field 11 years ago and says there is nowhere else she would rather be. She sees clients in the Old Town Scottsdale office Mondays through Wednesdays and virtually across Arizona.

Lisa is in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna, and also welcomes private-pay clients. For plans the practice is not contracted with, a superbill can be provided to submit for possible partial out-of-network reimbursement. Reduced sliding-scale rates are offered to BIPOC clients, single parents who are the primary caregiver, and clients with demonstrated financial need — inquire with the office. Therapy intensives and any session longer than one hour are not covered by insurance and are cash pay. Contact the practice to verify current fees, coverage, and availability before scheduling.
