Janine Stanley is a licensed professional counselor and the owner of Full of Heart Counseling & Consultation in Mesa, where she sees clients in the office and by telehealth across Arizona. Grief and loss is the heart of her work. She helps individuals and families through loss, works with parents to build confidence in their families, and supports adults through life transitions and anxiety.
Janine is fluent in American Sign Language and provides therapy directly in ASL, so Deaf and hard of hearing clients can do this work in their preferred language rather than through someone else. She also sees clients in English.
Grief changes us, and you don’t have to navigate it alone.
Her approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a family-systems lens, focused on understanding thoughts and emotions and building practical tools. She draws on trauma-informed CBT, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and expressive approaches to grief and loss, and describes her style as warm and supportive. She works with young adults, adults, and older adults.
Janine was an educator for ten years and understands special education. She earned her MS at Walden University and is licensed in Arizona as a Licensed Professional Counselor. She sees clients in the Mesa office Tuesday through Thursday and by telehealth on Mondays and Fridays. The first appointment is a 60-minute intake at $170, and individual and couples sessions are $150. She is in-network with Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and UnitedHealthcare, and superbills are provided for out-of-network reimbursement.
