Jada Thompson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Pasadena Creative Psychotherapy Collective, specializing in child and family therapy. Much of her work centers on families of children ages 0–5 and beyond, helping them process experiences of trauma, major life transitions, and relational challenges — with the caregiver relationship treated as the primary vehicle for healing rather than a side note.
A proud second-generation Mexican American born and raised in Montana, Jada moved to the Los Angeles area more than a decade ago. She is trained in Child-Parent Psychotherapy, and works across the full family system: young children, older children and adolescents, and the adults raising them.
She draws from psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks to help clients explore the deeper roots of their pain while building confidence to live more freely in the present.
Jada's style is exploratory and reflective. She practices primarily from psychodynamic and attachment-based frameworks, using play and art as modes of nonverbal expression — an approach that meets very young children where they are, and gives older clients a way in when words are hard to find.
She holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in Los Angeles. Jada is licensed in both California and Montana, and sees clients in person in Pasadena and by telehealth across California.
