Elizabeth Knutsen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California and Oregon who specializes in trauma, PTSD, and attachment. She works with individuals and with groups, in both weekly and intensive formats, to help clients reprocess trauma and build lasting, healthy habits, relationships, and beliefs.
Her work centers on how trauma and self-esteem struggles show up in the body and in daily life. She is trained in Brainspotting (Level 2) and certified in Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), and draws on somatic and trauma-informed approaches alongside them.
We’ll explore how these issues show up in your body and daily life, and collaborate on a plan for healing.
Elizabeth’s style is exploratory and reflective. She sees clients in person in El Cajon and by telehealth across California and Oregon, and offers a free 15-minute consultation before scheduling.
She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
