Dr. Madyson Wier is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Arizona and Nevada who holds a PhD in Forensic Psychology. Her doctorate focused on police work and critical incident response, and her doctoral research examined the body's fight-or-flight response and how these systems impact long-term mental health. She sees Arizona clients virtually statewide.
Madyson specializes in police psychology, working with law enforcement and first responders through critical incidents — including officer-involved shootings — and the trauma, burnout, moral injury, and stress that high-demand careers of service can build over time. She also brings extensive court-related experience, including forensic evaluations, reunification services, and high-conflict cases, and is educated in working with children with intensive needs, with a focus on fetal alcohol spectrum disorders.
I work to provide my clients with reflective and challenging sessions while consistently adapting to the needs each day reveals.
Her style is direct and challenging while remaining collaborative and connected, with the goal of creating felt safety with each client. She primarily practices Brainspotting, EMDR, DBT, and Parts & Memory therapy, and works with clients of all ages — children, teens, young adults, and adults.
At Revival Therapy, Madyson also serves as Clinical Supervisor and Student Program Director, directing the practice's student therapy program for students working toward licensure.
