Bio

Dina Bdaiwi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and the owner of Help Send Therapy, working with teens and young adults on identity formation and exploration, trauma processing, and body image. A queer Latina and SWANA therapist who is also neurodivergent and an eldest daughter, she brings that lived experience to the work — particularly with QT+BIPOC clients unpacking how societal pressure and oppression shape the relationship they have with themselves.

Much of Dina's caseload centers on LGBTQ+ mental health: identity exploration, relationships, non-monogamy, and the trauma that often accompanies moving through the world at those intersections. She also works closely with teens and young adults navigating disordered eating, complex trauma, and neurodivergence.

Her style is exploratory and reflective — making room for clients to look at where their patterns came from, rather than rushing to fix them.

Dina is EMDR trained, has completed Brainspotting Part 1, and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). She integrates those trauma-processing approaches with narrative, feminist, and client-centered work, adapting to each client's pace and context rather than to a fixed protocol.

She holds a Master of Science in Counseling and Clinical Mental Health from California State University, Fullerton, and a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social Behavior with a minor in Gender and Sexuality Studies from the University of California, Irvine. She sees clients in Irvine and by telehealth throughout California.
