Chelsea Wise-Diangson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than ten years of experience treating anxiety and OCD, seeing California clients by telehealth statewide. She works with young adults and adults — people carrying the particular weight of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive patterns, and what she cheerfully calls general Millennial angst.
Her central specialty is Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the evidence-based approach widely regarded as the gold standard for OCD and most anxiety disorders. She blends ERP with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness tools, helping clients face what frightens them and get back to the life they actually want to be living.
My approach is directive but warm, and I use a lot of humor to help clients feel safe in a modality that often feels inherently unsafe as they face their fears.
Chelsea's style is structured and tools-based. She is direct and holds clients accountable to the work, and she balances that with warmth and a deliberate use of humor — exposure therapy asks people to move toward the very things they have been avoiding, and levity is part of what makes that possible. Alongside OCD and anxiety, she works with stress, coping skills, and life transitions.
She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from California State University, Fullerton, and is licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California. All sessions are held virtually.
