Candice Craft is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California and the therapist behind Soul Craft Counseling, a telehealth practice based in the Sierra Foothills and serving clients across the state. She offers integrative, somatically oriented care for adults navigating complex chronic illness, medical trauma, complex trauma, and reproductive stress or grief.
Much of Candice's work sits at the intersection of body and story. She specializes in the experiences that are hard to put into words — the imprints that chronic illness, medical settings, and trauma can leave behind — and helps clients process what the body has been holding so it no longer has to live in the background of their lives.
Sometimes there aren't quite words for the experiences you've lived — but your body holds the story. Together, we process the imprints of what you've lived through, and let the story live outside the confines of your body and mind.
Her approach draws on trauma-processing tools including Brainspotting and EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic work, and mindfulness. She uses a virtual EMDR program that she adapts to each client's unique presentation and physical and neurological needs, and her style is exploratory and reflective — leaving room to understand yourself and move at a pace that feels safe.
Candice holds space that is medical-trauma sensitive, neurodivergent-friendly, and LGBTQIA+ affirming, meeting each client at the intersections of their identity and lived experience — all parts welcome. She earned her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology, with a concentration in Somatic Psychology, from Meridian University.
