Shea Saysavanh is a Licensed Associate Counselor with a trauma-informed approach to therapy. She works with individuals, couples, and children — addressing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, emotional dysregulation, and stuck behavioral patterns that feel impossible to shift on your own.
Trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Shea integrates this evidence-based trauma modality with CBT and Internal Family Systems (IFS) to create a layered, personalized treatment experience. Her work centers on building safe, collaborative therapeutic relationships where clients feel truly understood — and begin to develop the self-compassion that makes change possible.
"I bring honesty, humor, and a collaborative spirit to every session — because healing shouldn't feel like something that happens to you."
Shea sees teens, adults, couples, and children, and is available both in-person at Thrive Therapy's Glendale and Phoenix locations and virtually throughout Arizona. A free 15-minute consultation is available for prospective clients.
