Sandra Naylor is a Clinical Geriatric Psychotherapist and the founder of Geriatric Counseling LLC. With a career devoted to the intersection of aging and neurological health, she brings focused clinical expertise to a population often underserved in traditional therapy settings: older adults living with neurological disorders, and the family members and caregivers who support them.
Her work spans the full range of neurological diagnoses — Alzheimer's disease, dementia, Parkinson's disease, stroke, and traumatic brain injury — with a deep understanding of how each condition affects not just the individual, but the entire family system around them. She approaches this work with both clinical rigor and genuine compassion, meeting patients and caregivers where they are at each stage of the journey.
"Older adults and their caregivers deserve specialized, dignified mental health care — care that understands the unique challenges of aging and neurological illness."
Sandra holds a University of Arizona Graduate Certificate in Innovations in Aging, reflecting her ongoing commitment to advancing her understanding of geriatric care. Her background in health care management (MSIMC) gives her a systems-level perspective on navigating the complex landscape of aging, illness, and care coordination.
She practices exclusively via telehealth, making specialized geriatric counseling accessible to clients throughout Arizona. She is currently accepting new clients and is available Monday through Thursday. Washington State licensure is pending.
