Paul Kindman is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 14 years of experience and the co-founder of Kindman & Co. in Highland Park, Los Angeles. He is a PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) Level Two Therapist who loves working with couples to deepen intimacy and strengthen their sense of connection — particularly partners in multicultural relationships navigating the unique challenges of honoring multiple belief systems, identities, and traditions within a shared life.
Paul is especially passionate about working with men who are willing to question the stories they've been told about masculinity — stories that can pressure men to hide their emotions, compete instead of connect, or confuse strength with silence. He creates a space where men can explore vulnerability and build more authentic relationships with themselves and others.
"I believe that the stories we've inherited about who we're supposed to be are often the very things keeping us from the connection we actually want."
Before co-founding Kindman & Co. in 2018, Paul worked across a range of community agencies — providing harm-reduction-based substance use counseling, facilitating mentoring relationships for under-resourced youth, and working closely with marginalized communities at The Relational Center, where he also supervised clinical trainees and associate therapists. That grounding in social justice and community care continues to shape his relational approach to therapy.
