Nnamdi is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who utilizes a trauma-informed, strength-based, person-centered, here-and-now approach to explore the depths of mind, body and spirit. He works collaboratively with clients to uncover and reveal core beliefs, thoughts and feelings in order to grow in self-awareness — empowering them through self-determination toward a renewed mind and confidence.
Throughout life, we face many challenges — sadness, anger, pain, frustration, anxiety and depression — which can lead to feelings of inadequacy, insecurity, fear and doubt. Nnamdi views these life challenges, though extremely difficult, as opportunities for breakthrough. His approach directly addresses shame, low self-esteem, guilt, worthlessness and hopelessness, replacing them with love, peace, joy, happiness and security.
"You were created for this very specific moment and this very specific time, and together, you will experience true prosperity."
Nnamdi has accrued extensive experience working with children, adolescents, young adults, parents and families. He specializes in supporting individuals from underserved populations — particularly those who identify as Black or African American — who are pursuing a greater understanding of themselves, their culture and overall identity. He also brings a unique focus to working with athletes, helping them maintain healthy mentality and peak performance through reflective exploration of feelings, thoughts and behaviors directly related to their athletic experience.
With over 10 years of clinical work with children, youth and families, and 5+ years treating various mood disorders including depression, anxiety, anger, trauma symptoms, and suicidality, Nnamdi brings both depth and directness to the therapeutic relationship. He has also facilitated therapy groups, reflective supervision groups, and parent support groups for over eight years.
