Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Thrive Therapy in Phoenix, Arizona, working exclusively with adults (18+). She brings a trauma-informed and neuroaffirming perspective to all of her work and draws on a rich toolkit of evidence-based modalities — including EMDR, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and yoga and mindfulness practices.
Her clinical focus spans trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment and relationship challenges, neurodivergence, self-esteem and identity, and life transitions. Whether working individually, with couples, or in a group setting, Lauren prioritizes safety and attunement as the foundation of the therapeutic relationship.
"Therapy is a collaborative process of establishing safety — and from that foundation, developing self-regulation, emotional intelligence, and the communication skills to build a life that feels genuinely livable."
Lauren is a dedicated group therapy facilitator who runs groups including Trauma 101, Emotions 101, Boundary Skills, Embodiment Group, and The Practice. Lauren additionally leads quarterly workshops on themes related to Neurodivergence to educate and build community, fostering a greater understanding of the nuances of navigating life with neurodivergence. This breadth reflects her belief that healing happens in relationship — not just one-on-one, but in community with others navigating similar experiences.
She also offers individual trauma intensives and couples intensives for those seeking deeper, focused work, and her practice is connected to Thrive Therapy's broader Mental Health IOP and OCD IOP programs for clients who need a higher level of structured support.
