Kim is a licensed therapist with 10 years of experience helping anxious adults navigate dating, relationships, attachment patterns, and trauma. She works with adults who are navigating relationship challenges — from dating and long-term relationships to breakups and attachment — using an attachment-focused lens rooted in her advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
She works with both individuals and couples, and is licensed in California, New York, New Jersey, and Florida. While her primary focus is on attachment trauma, she is fully trained in EMDR for other trauma work as well.
"Many of the clients I work with have an anxious or avoidant attachment style rooted in childhood or previous relationships that impacts their connections, communication, and confidence in the present. Together, we identify what's driving that pattern and create lasting change."
Many of Kim's clients experience generalized anxiety alongside their relationship concerns. She works well with clients who feel stuck — trying to figure out what is right for them in their relationships and in life — with a focus on boundaries, communication, self-care, and self-esteem.
In therapy, Kim helps clients identify what's driving their anxiety, learn healthier ways to communicate during conflict, and work through old patterns that keep repeating. The goal is to help clients feel more present, more confident, and more capable of creating the relationships they truly want.
