Kaitlin Kindman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 14 years of experience, and the Practice Director & CEO of Kindman & Co., the Highland Park therapy practice she co-founded in 2018. She works with individuals, couples, and intimate partners who want to move beyond painful relational patterns — from feeling overwhelmed, undersupported, or inauthentic, to feeling seen, fulfilled, and inspired.
Trained at The Relational Center and holding an MSW from New York University's Silver School of Social Work, Kaitlin brings a feminist, social justice-informed lens to her work. She stays attentive to how identity, power, and context shape each client's experience, and she specializes in supporting therapists, helpers, leaders, and high-profile individuals who spend their lives supporting others.
"We're wired for connection, but that doesn't mean relationships come easily."
Kaitlin is a Level Two PACT (Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy) Therapist and a Level Two Sensorimotor Psychotherapist. She also trained in relational Gestalt therapy from a social justice perspective. Her approach emphasizes authenticity, choice, and deeper connection — helping clients build the kind of relationships and inner life they actually want.
Before founding Kindman & Co., Kaitlin spent many years working in community mental health settings, developing a deep commitment to accessible, culturally responsive care. That foundation continues to shape her clinical work and her vision for the practice.
