Jessica Barrera Castro is a Licensed Master Social Worker and Team-CBT Level 2 clinician specializing in children and teens ages 5–24. A first-generation graduate and daughter of Mexican immigrants, Jessica brings a deeply personal cultural competency to her practice meeting clients where they are and honoring the unique contexts that shape each person's experience.
Jessica holds a Columbia Suicide Training Certificate and draws on a rich toolkit of evidence-based and creative modalities, including Motivational Interviewing, Team-CBT, play-based and art interventions, roleplaying, journaling, and mindfulness. She works in English and Spanish, making culturally affirming therapy accessible to bilingual families.
