Emily Adams

Emily Adams is a Licensed Professional Counselor at Thrive Therapy, with offices in Phoenix and Glendale, Arizona. Her work centers on helping clients build the courage to show up authentically — creating space for people to explore the parts of themselves they've kept hidden, heal the shame that keeps them stuck, and move through grief and transition with greater groundedness.

Emily's primary therapeutic approach is Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), a values-based model that helps clients develop psychological flexibility, reduce the grip of difficult thoughts and emotions, and take meaningful action in alignment with what matters most to them. She works with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, grief, shame, self-esteem challenges, and significant life changes.

A California native who has called Arizona home for nearly a decade, Emily brings both warmth and clinical depth to her practice. Outside of session, she enjoys time with her husband, her dog, and the Arizona outdoors.
