Elizabeth Hill is a Black, AuDHD, licensed marriage and family therapist who has worked in the field of psychology since 2002. She specializes in support for multiply marginalized populations — Black, brown, indigenous, queer, trans, and neurodivergent individuals — who have traditionally needed access to resources and been denied. Her practice currently focuses primarily on autism and ADHD assessments, offered in the states of California and Florida.
Elizabeth brings both lived experience as a Black, AuDHD woman and specialized training in autism assessments to her work. She is passionate about helping individuals, families, and couples achieve more connection, insight, and awareness — with concentrated experience serving historically marginalized groups, formerly incarcerated people, and people struggling with racial trauma and discrimination.
"I tend to believe that most of what has been labelled the 'psychopathology' of an individual is actually a direct result of systemic harm. I am passionate about helping the most disenfranchised and marginalized populations."
In therapy, Elizabeth focuses on family of origin and early attachments to help people build healthy adult relationships. Sessions center on setting healthy boundaries, assertive communication, conflict resolution, and recognizing unhealthy relationship patterns — while also examining intergenerational trauma and messages internalized about identity. Her approach is direct yet compassionate, solution-oriented, and informed by a deep commitment to social justice and liberation.
