Brigitte is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist whose passion is helping children and teens navigate the challenges of growing up — from managing emotions and building self-esteem to coping with family changes, facing school pressures, and overcoming social struggles. She works with clients ages 3 through 19 and is trained in music, art, and play therapy techniques, bringing creative and interactive methods into every session to make the therapeutic experience both enjoyable and impactful.
Every client deserves a safe space where they can express themselves authentically, feel seen and heard, and experience personal growth. Brigitte is committed to creating a trusting, judgment-free environment and fostering a strong, empathetic connection with each young person she works with.
"I believe it takes a village to raise a confident, thriving child. Parents, caregivers, teachers, and other key figures in a child's life are active partners in the therapeutic process."
Collaboration is central to Brigitte's work. She partners with parents, caregivers, teachers, and other key figures to support the whole child in developing a strong sense of self, while equipping families with tools to nurture their child's unique needs. The skills learned in therapy are meant to be practiced and applied in real-life settings — at home, school, and beyond.
Brigitte uses a variety of therapeutic modalities including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered, and Strengths-Based approaches to help clients gain insight into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, deepen self-awareness, and cultivate meaningful, lasting change. She also incorporates art, music, and play therapy techniques to engage younger clients in ways that feel natural and expressive.
Her clinical background includes working with foster children and teens through The Village Family Services in Los Angeles, where she collaborated with social workers, attorneys, case managers, and behavioral specialists. She also completed her traineeship at Partnerships to Uplift Communities (PUC), providing individual, collateral, and family therapy to elementary-aged clients and their families, with additional training in sand tray, music, and art therapy techniques.
