Brianna is a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with children and teens, helping them develop coping skills, build resilience, and find their voice. With a background in developmental psychology from Arizona State University and a Master's in Counseling from Ottawa University, she brings both academic grounding and real-world clinical experience to every session.
Her clinical background includes three years at the Child Development Lab at Arizona State University, where she worked directly with children in structured therapeutic settings, and time as a case manager with the Department of Child Safety — experience that gives her a nuanced understanding of family systems, trauma, and the complex environments children navigate.
"Kids don't always have words for what they're feeling — play therapy gives them another language, and that's where real healing begins."
Brianna uses play therapy as a primary modality because it meets children where they are, in their natural language. Through creative, developmentally appropriate techniques, she helps young clients process difficult emotions, communicate more effectively, and build the coping tools they need to thrive — both in the therapy room and beyond it.
She also works with teens and adults on issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, OCD, grief, self-esteem, and relationship challenges. Whether working with a child through the expressive freedom of play or with a teenager navigating identity and connection, Brianna brings warmth, curiosity, and genuine investment to every client she sees.
