Allyson Dennen

Allyson Dennen is the owner and therapist behind Elysian Renewal Counseling in Goodyear, Arizona. Her practice centers on two areas she has pursued with deep clinical focus: EMDR therapy — including intensive formats — for women navigating divorce or life inside an abusive or difficult marriage, and OCD treatment using Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT).

Her work with women in difficult marriages is rooted in a trauma-informed, relationally attuned approach. She understands the complexity of this terrain — the grief, the confusion, the pressure — and creates a space where clients can process their experience without judgment and move toward clarity at their own pace.

For clients managing OCD, Allyson uses I-CBT, an evidence-based approach that targets the faulty reasoning processes underlying obsessional doubt — distinct from traditional ERP and often well-suited for clients who have struggled with other OCD treatments. She is currently accepting new clients and offers both in-person sessions in Goodyear and telehealth throughout Arizona.
